Mr. Berry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Helen Walter Berry, two sons, Don Allen Berry, Jr. and Thomas Roy Berry, both of Castleton, his mother, Sandra Woodward, one nephew that was like a son, and one grandchild,
Additional survivors include four siblings, Kay Orelia Crookshanks, Connie Sue Berry, Gordon MacRay Berry and Marsha Wenelin Butterfield and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to his father, ht is preceded in death by two siblings Roy Edward Berry, Jr. and Joan Darnell Woodward.
A funeral service was held on Thursday' September 1, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Helms officiating.
Interment followed in Gourdvine Baptist Church Cemetery with honors provided by the American Legion Post 330 and VFW Post 2524.
Pallbearers will be, Brian Woodward, John Harrison, Tommy Walter, Todd Berry, Doug Ricketts, Billy Singleton, Dwayne Culp and Ronnie Walter.
