many others, my family has put most of our generations old farm under easement and has placed riparian buffers on every stream on our property. However, I realize that the biggest challenge faced by our , land- and Rappahannock as a whole- is to ensure that the land is farmed and forested responsibly and sustainably way into the future. Working farms and forests and the people that make them work are the glue that will secure the qualities most of us love in this county.
