Because the penguins have never been hunted by humans, they weren’t afraid. Even when photographers approached them, they were unafraid, sometimes encircling the photographers, and after just two weeks the photographers were able to live among them.
Mostly, they were simply ignored, but two of the penguins liked to put themselves in front of the lens, sometimes making it impossible to film the others.
