Lighting Design: How to Design Lights for a Play: with Betsy Tbth

Betsy has been a lighting designer for 40 years working with Arena Stage, Folger Theatre, Ki Theatre and as a designer for area dance and music ensembles including Sweet Honey in the Rock.

Acting: Principles of Performing and Building Character with Julie Portman

Julie is Artistic Director of Ki Theatre. She is a New York Obie award winning theatre artist, recipient of a Fulbright artist award to India and most recently received the 2006 Fellowship in Play writing from by the Virginia Commission for the Arts.

Transform a Story into a Play with Leslie Jacobson

Leslie is the Artistic Director of Horizons Theatre in Washington, DC and has worked for several decades as a playwright and dramaturgist. In addition to directing traditional plays, she creates theatrical scripts from stories and improvisations with emphasis on women in contemporary culture.
