The Department of General Services is seeking qualified applicants to fill this vacancy within the Technical Services Division. The successful candidate will assist in maintenance and repair work; modular office systems installation; preventive maintenance; and facilities inspections. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation. Prefer at least 6 months experience in building maintenance field, with carpentry experience a plus. Experience in other building trades helpful. Valid appropriate driver's license. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures and lift 70 lbs.; some work may be hazardous due to location or type of work. Subject to recall or being held beyond scheduled workday; must be available to respond to County emergencies. Successful candidate will undergo a driver's license check.
