the girls of Troop 3003 - Amissville — will take part in a candle ceremony to begin the installation. Each will report on her projects and activities which were completed to reach the Gold level. Also, Sarah Smoot, another young woman of Amissville, will be awarded the Silver Pin. Sarah is a high school freshman.
All four young scouts will also present gifts to those individuals in the community who have been of special help or inspiration to them along the way
In closing, there will be a “retire the flag” ceremony, and taps will be sounded. The Gold level installation will be held at the United Methodist Church in Amissville at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 14.
