Headmistress’s Honor Roll Students
treated to lunch
Head of School Kathleen Grove recently treated some of her students to lunch at the Flint Hill Public House. Grove was celebrating the four students who made the second quarter Headmistress’s Honor Roll by earning a grade point average of 9.8 or above. These students recognized for their achievements were: Annelise Riedel of Washington (8th grade), Marguerite Beattie of Woodville (10th grade), Jody Green of Culpeper (11th grade), and Allison Russo of Flint Hill (12th grade).
Over sandwiches and salads, the group discussed sports, colleges, WCDS, self-discipline, the commitment it takes to excel at anything, and the correlation between effort and achievement.
