Apple Hill Bakery

rolls to new location

Change is on the rise for Sperryville’s Apple Hill Bakery, which has moved to a new location right across the street from the Sperryville Rescue Squad at 15 Main Street (last building on the right as you are heading back out to Hwy 211 - bright yellow color) and added a deli. In addition to the fresh donuts and pastries that have been breaking the wills of Atkins dieting Rapp residents, Apple Hill will now offer gourmet sandwiches, soups and savory pastries. ‘The savories are like flaky pastries filled with spinach and feta or ham and swiss,” explained owner Aileen Yilmaz. To complement the savories, Apple Hill’s ciabatta bread sandwiches will feature special dressings, like chili garlic and pesto. “They give them a special taste,” said owner and baker Lucky Yilmaz. After the pastries and sandwiches, patrons will be able to enjoy one of Lucky’s pies. “We make them all with fresh fruit now,” said Lucky. “I think our donuts are our best,” said Aileen. Customers will get the chance to find out for themselves on January 29, when Apple Hill will hold an open house at their new location. ‘There will be samples of our sandwiches, pies, donuts, everything,” smiled Aileen. Apple Hill Bakery is open now to serve you on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 a .m. to 5 p. m. They are closed on Tuesdays. Phone them at (540) 987-9870.
