“This was a defensiveminded game,” Jenkins said, “but I think that our pressure defense got to them. By the end of the game, Madison was worn out.
As the game progressed, we got better.”Johns’ strong second-half performance was much needed, after starting senior guard Courtney Hutchinson fouled out early in the fourth quarter. She finished with a game-high 17 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Johns had 11 points
