“The Constant Gardener”
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the community (RAAC) brings this winning film to The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington, Friday, February 3 at 8 p.m. Based on John le Carre’s novel, activist Tessa Quayle (Rachel Weisz) is found brutally murdered in Kenya. Her husband, Justin Ralph Fiennes embarks on a personal odyssey which will lead him into a conspiracy more far-reaching than he could ever have imagined.
February 4: Baseball registration
The Rappahannock Culpeper Babe Ruth Baseball League will be holding registration for the upcoming 2006 spring season. Stuart Field, home of RAA/RCB, is conveniently located just a few minutes from Clevenger’s comer traffic light off Route 211.
Registration days will be held at the following locations:
February 4th Jeffersonton Community Center on Saturday January 28th and February 11th
Registration times at both locations will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Players new to the league will need to provide a birth certificate.
