Margaret T. Byrd

Margaret Talley Byrd, 69 of Amissville died January 20 at Fauquier hospital in Warrenton.

Mrs. Byrd was born February 9, 1936.

She worked as an insurance agent.

Mrs. Byrd is survived by her husband, Wilson L. Byrd, Sr., of Amissville, one daughter, Cynthia Bryd Turner of Atlanta, Ga., two sons, Wilson L. Byrd, Jr., of Alexandria and Levi T. Byrd of Florence, S.C.

Additional survivors include her mother, Mary D. Talley, Bennettsville, S.C., three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 26 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 26 at 12 noon at Waterloo First Baptist Church on 9535 Old Waterloo Rd., Warrenton with Rev. Ray Jackson officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the children’s choir at Waterloo First Baptist or other charity of your choice.
