Kathleen Elouise Wier Ricketts, 83, died Thursday, January 19, at Oak Springs in Warrenton.
She was born on March 15, 1922 in Birmingham, AL to the late Guthrie Eugene Wier and Dixie Evelyn Wier.
Mrs. Ricketts was a member of Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star, Las Vegas Chapter.
She is survived by five children, Cynthia E. Shaw and her husband Norman of Vonore, TN, Dale E. Burke of Washington, Charles W. Ricketts Jr. of Manassas, Kathleen E. Patterson and her husband, Ross of San Antonio, TX and.Douglas L. Ricketts Sr. and his wife Tammy Rae of Washington,
Additional survivors include her ten grandchildren; Sheri Sudweeks, Mario Granil, Penny Hunter, Jeffrey P. Burke Sr., Michael Ricketts, Matt Ricketts, Renee Ricketts, April Patterson, Amber Patterson and Stacy D. Ricketts, sixteen great grandchildren; Bryce, Tara, Jordan, Hailey, Meaghan, Jennifer, Samantha, Brandon, Andrew, Jeffrey Jr., Charles, Krystal, Cody, Madelyn, Chelsie and Tamara.
