Local Families Invited to Attend
Mark Jaster, a mime artist who has appeared at the Kennedy Center and Wolf Trap, is scheduled to appear at Wakefield Country Day School on Wednesday, February 1st at 10:00 a.m. in the Leonard M. Cowherd Auditorium. The performance, entitled, A Fool Named ‘O’ is appropriate for children in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Wakefield is extending an invitation to Rappahannock County families who would like to join them for the performance, subject to seating availability. If you would like to attend, please call 540-635-8555, ext. 231. The performance should last about 30 - 40 minutes and is described as “a medieval fool engaging the audience in some really old-fashioned fim, using wordless wit, kinetic humor and playful interaction.” Jaster trained under Marcel Marceau and appeared recently at Chateauville to rave reviews.

Rappahannock Soccer season is just around the comer. Onsite sign up will be at Rappahannock County Elementary Schools Parent Teacher night on February 2. We will be located in the front lobby from 3-5 p.m. and then from 6-8 p.m. If you are new to the league, please bring birth certificate. Registration deadline is February 24.
