I promise you, she’s not. Yeah, she rebelled against one or two rules her mother set, but then again, all teenagers do. She just wanted to be a ‘normal’ teenager around other ‘normal’ teens. Aia just needed to realize that ‘normal’ isn’t something teens do well.
On this last note, I know that what Aia did to her mother was wrong.
All of her friends realize this. Heck, even Aia realizes now how stupid it was, but she was scared.
This very, very rash action wasn’t done in the maliciousness of her heart of hearts, nor did she plan her actions out. All of us, her friends, just wish there was something more we could have done for her to prevent her from making such split-second decision.
For now, all we can do is defend her and her character, though not the action. We ask that instead of judging her, you look at the situation with an open mind.
If not, please, don’t be giving your opinion of her for her friends to hear.
We need to come down from the shock that you all must have felt and deal with this without having those who have condemned her guilty coming to us with your opinions.
This is all we ask.
