An expert in social work and child therapy testified, that the child was exhibiting signs of post dramatic stress disorder. She also testified that the child had spoken about, “nightmares of Mr. Marvin chasing her and her mother with a knife.”
During witness testimony, Commonwealth attorney Peter Luke exhibited photographs of Marvin’s back and chest, tattooed to illustrate a knife being plunged into his body. He also exhibited a knife that was found in Marvin’s belongings during the time of the events.
Daryl Brown, an inmate at the Rappahannock Jail, testified that Marvin had admitted to him about coining off of a year long cocaine binge and admitted to taking baths with the girl and washing her genitals. Brown said that the conversation with Marvin took place while they were in the
