On Good Friday, April 6 at 7 p.m., the Grace Church Choir, Soloists and cellist under the direction of Samuel Carabetta, Organist and Choirmaster will present A Meditation on the Passion of Christ, with Carols. Carols are most often associated with the Advent and Christmas seasons, but they exist for different occasions. Many carols are replete with references and imagery of more than one aspect of Christ’s life and ministry, making them equally, if not more appropriate for use at Passion tide. Now intersperse ancient and intoxicating plainsong amidst the carols - the combination is extraordinarily powerful and moving!
