Luke argued in the final statements that Brown knew far too many matching details about the case to have fabricated a story.
“No excuse”
Marvin took the stand under oath and flatly denied all of the allegations brought against him. He said that the victim was lying about him and was mistaken about the events. He asserted that the alleged incidents never happened and that the victim had “no excuse” to he about him.
Marvin also denied ever speaking to Brown, ever using cocaine, or coming off a cocaine binge. He also indicated that members in the Rappahannock jail had treated him badly because of the accusations.
