She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church, the UDC and Friendly Visitors. She enjoyed spending summers at her farm near Staunton, VA.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Gwendolyn F. Cody of Annandale, VA., two grandchildren, one greatgranddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a. m. Friday, June 8, in Boykins Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
