With a strengthened heart, Joshua accepted his diploma for the graduating class of 2007 from Christian Liberty Academy from his grandfather, Pastor John K. Burke. Afterwards he moved his tassel from right to left on his mortarboard hat. A closing prayer from the pastor that encouraged Joshua to use his life for the Lord service.
Pictures of sweet baby faces, little boy smiles, and young man grins, greeted guests on the wall for the reception.
Joshua is the son of Steven and Judy Alther of Washington, grandson of John K. Burke and the late Edna Burke and Roy and Josephine Alther of Sperryville.
