Living Towns
meeting
We were treated last Thursday to the many ideas for preservation, community development and tourism that can increase our revenue base and improve Rappahannock County. The next step lies with us.
Do we want to continue to be a destination? If so, what kind of destination do we want to be? How can we. attract and support the businesses that are compatible with our comprehensive plan and the lifestyle that we cherish? What do we need to do to make this happen? Some of those who attended the exciting and informative workshop last week plan to meet informally to begin the dialogue. I hope that positive action can result from a sharing of ideas. The SchoolHouse was an ideal meeting place for the conference and exemplifies the dilemma and the opportunity for the future.
What will we become?
