Even bigger thanks must go to Patty Want, the shelter director, and her paid and volunteer staff, whose day-in and dayout jobs are to lovingly care for, and ensure the finding of, good homes for the dogs, so many of whom have had horrendous lives before they were lucky enough to land in the RAWL shelter.
