The Virginia WingShooters held their Fall 2007 shoot the weekend of September 28 and 29. The Friday shoot was held at the G. Miller Farm near Sperryville. There were 14 active shooters. Doves were flying in small migratory groups of 3-5 birds. Shooting was fast as the birds swooped down into the field. Refreshments were enjoyed in the field as evening approached.
The second day of shooting was held in Shenandoah County at Jumping Run Farm. Approximately 16 shooters lined the field as larger groups of doves flew into the field. There was a good gust of wind
