Bhaegrass Festival

Ifs that time of year tor all of you closest chi chefs to test the taste buds of Rappahannock. This year's event which benefits the 4-H Livestock Club features the music of Dark Hollow and Debbie Zirm and Natural Grass. Event is held at Rappahannock County High School from 2-5:30 p.m. Adult advance tickets are $10; $12.00 at the door students are $5.00 and children under 5 are free. Purchase acfcance tickets at The Beauty Bax in Washington, Drum and Strum in Warrenton and Culpeper Music Store in Culpeper.

Nov. 9: Veterans Day Progam

The community is invited to attend the annual Veteran’s Day program at RCHS hosted by the Rappahannock County Band Boosters. The program wiH be held at 11 a.m. on Friday Nov. 9. The guest speaker this year will be Captain Mehaei Dei Grosso, USMC. Captain Del Grosso retired from the Marine Corps in June, 2007 and resides in Washington, VA with his wife and two sons. The program wiil mdude a performance by the RCHS band students. Refreshments wfl be served following the program. To honor a veteran with a named flag placed around the oval of RCHS, a form must be filed out and returned with $3 per flag to Saly Havstad. Dec. 2: Christmas in Little VtosMngton

The Viteshrngton Hospitality and Visitors Association puts on their third annual Christmas in Little Washington event starling with tee parade at 1 p^n. The year there wtf be a Holiday Bazaar located in Ki Theatre. Washington Baptist Church writ be decorating gingerbread and have their traditional Brunswick Stew. Santa wM be in town as wel.
