Awareness Festival
Enjoy music, speakers, local food and wine; a solar-house tour and a bonfire whie teaming about the issues surrounding Oorntnion Virginia Power's proposal to string more 500,000-volt power lines through Rappahannock County Green vendors are welcome and tailgating is encouraged. The event will be held from 2 p.m. until dark at Jordan River Farm (6 Shiloh Lane at the comer of Jericho Road and North Ftoes Road in Huntty). At dusk, there will be a “Lightwalk" under the Dominion power lines that cross the farm. Participants can bring their own 3-loot fluorescent light bulb, which wtf illuminate from the stray energy emitted by the ines.
