A series of classes providing hands-on training, information and support to family caregivers will be held on Thursdays, Oct 18 and 25 and Nov. 8 and 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hal. Take one or all four of these workshops which will give you helpful tips on caring for ill and disabled family members. Topics will include handson care, safety, preventing and dealing with problems, managing mediations, working with doctors and hospitals, finding resources, financial and legal issues, coping with confusion and dementia and caring for the caregiver.
