History
Post 1150 has always shared its building with Sperryville’s emergency responders. From the time the building was built in 1949 until 1969, the post shared the space with the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department, according to Rescue Squad Vice President Ray Boc. In 1969, the rescue squad moved into the fire department’s space and has been responsible for maintaining the property for the past 38 years.
