A man who caught his first fish in the Rush River is moving up in bass fishing’s professional ranks.
Mike Hall finished 10th this year in* the Northern region of tne FLW Outdoors Stren series - a number of bass-fishing tournaments hosted around the nation. That accomplishment puts the 54-year-old Annandale resident among the top fishermen in the United States, and gives him an automatic placement in next year’s professional tour.
Mike grew up in Annandale, but began coming out to Rappahannock County when his parents, Ivan and Hazel, bought a 26-acre farm near Sperryville some 48 years ago. Mike’s parents still live on what they named
