The RRCSB/AAA is seeking a qualified person to work 10 hriweek supporting Aging Together activities in Rappahannock County. The Resource Specialist collects and disseminates information about services available to older adults and their families and assists the Rappahannock County Aging Together Team in addressing local priorities for expanding and enhancing services and resources, including budding a strong volunteer network. Any combination of education and experience, equivalent to an Associate's Degree in a relevant field; experience in volunteer recnutment/cooidination or community organization requited. APARTMENT LIVING RESIDENTAL COUNSELOR Ml Full-time non-exempt positions under the supervision of a Supported Laving Program Manager to support adults with mental illness and mental retardation. Provide assessment, living skills training and support for consumers in new residential group home and/or independent living in apartment settings. Evaluation and asses consumer skills and develop individual training plans, assist with and monitor consumer budgets and provide payee services and needed, provide shopping and cooking assistance, plan and participate in recreabonal activities. Provide support through feedback through direct contact m areas of interpersonal skills, neighbor and landlord relations, etc. Report to primacy therapist on mental status and issues and participate in consumer disposition meetings. Knowledge of community, housing and financial resources for the chronically mentally imparted, skills in assessment of consumer's function capacity and demonstrated ability to deal effectively with consumers. BS degree in Human Service or 5 yrs. exp. $28.411 50/annually

SUBSTANCE ABUS TECHNICIAN #12# Hourly and on-call positions available at residential substance abuse treatment facility to monitor activities of consumers and ensure their safety and welfare. Implement and monitor education and recreational activities of consumers as instructed and maintain clinical records. High school diploma with experience m human serv ices field. Demonstrated ability to work with substance abuse population. Fipenmre in residential substance abuse setting and/or DETOX setting preferable. Ability to meet the public, monitor/supervise groups of people, and wok independently. Effective communication skills. Open until filled; $11.98/hr.
