Underage driver
A woman called the RCSO at 7:19 pm. Saturday to say she saw a 14-year-old driving a dark green Subaru on Woodward Road near Sperryville. According to the incident report, the caller told the dispatcher that she recognized the boy and said she had seen him driving around the area several times during the past week.
Inn fighting
A man called the sheriff’s office at 11:58 pm. Saturday to report that he had been assaulted by another man in the dining room of the Inn at Little Washington.
According to a report at the RCSO, the caller said he was hit in the side of the head by a man who appeared to be intoxicated. He wanted to press charges, but a warrant was denied because the supposed victim in the incident was also found to be intoxicated, the report said.
