He gave the examples of a potential regional-jail agreement with Shenandoah and Warren counties and the $50,000 approved by the Board of Supervisors to fight Dominion Virginia Power’s plan for a new transmission corridor in the county.
He also complained that School Board members do hot answer citizen questions at their monthly meetings,
“The process at the School Board is so frustrating,” he said. “I don’t think Rappahannock is so large that you can’t engage the public and answer their questions.”
Most people would be satisfied with honest answers, he said, but citizens grow skeptical when they don’t get a response at meetings.
