nenry wrote a senes of books about Misty and her foals, all of which were illustrated by Middleburg artist Wesley Dennis. Misty lived out her twilight years at Hetties farm, and the author created this horse cake recipe. It lends itself to a Christmas-time celebration as well as a birthday party: the serves 8 hungry horses or 12 people.
