The new hall of the Salem Fire and Rescue Department was the setting for a Christmas luncheon on Wednesday when the ladies of the department prepared and served the meal for the Senior Citizens groups from Culpeper, Madison, Orange, Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties. A great meal and good fellowship was enjoyed by all in attendance and many thanks to the hard working ladies.
Our community has lost another of her citizens in the passing of Andrew Jackie Sisk, which occurred at his home on Friday. He was laid to rest in Culpeper National Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to his wife and all family members.
We covet your prayers for Mrs. Bsarl Tate of Castleton View, who is a surgical patient at the University of Virginia Hospital.
This writer was a last Friday overnight guest of Ms. Brenda Frazier in Culpeper and was joined on Saturday for a visit by Mrs. Shirley Racey.
To Mr. and Mrs. Michael Frazier of OrBannon Mill Road, and all the family we extend condolences in the loss of his father, Lewis Brown Frazier, who passed away Sunday at Culpeper Regional Hospital and laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper on Wednesday.
