Rappahannock Hunt
Point-to-Point Races
The entries for the Rappahannock Hunt Point-to-Point races are coming in very well. So far, there are forty-five entries for the six jumping races and five in the Farmers Race.
The most well-filled race is the Mt. Marshall, which s the light weight open race with eighteen entries including last year’s winner, Polichnela II. Needless to say this race will be run in two divisions. Following that is the Mount Salem, the ladies race with eight entres. The following hunts will be represented: Rappahannock, Hazelmere Hounds, Bull Run Hunt, Warrenton, Casanove, Orange County, Keswick, Farmington, Middleburg, Loudoun, Piedmont, Blue Ridge, Old Dominion, Fairfax and the Marlborough Hunt

With such a large list of entries, there will probably be a big crowd, so plan to come early. As in the past, children under twelve will be admitted free. The race committee asks all spectators not to throw bottles on the ground and bo take all other precautions necessary for the safety of horses and riders.
Trophies have been donated by Mr. and Mrs. James W. Fletcher, Mr. and Mrs. Leon T. Greenaway and Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh.

Rogers, Warrenton. *The Rappahannock Hunt has endeavored to send gift tickets to land owners over land thfcy have frequently hunted and if by over sight any such land owners should have been over-looked, they should contact Mrs. John R. DeBergh or J. W. Fletcher.
