CALF SHUW
On April 26 of last year, a Cali Show was heW at Dolmont Farm.
cialist of V. P. I. Extension Service, judged the show and Sam Spangler of the Virginia Angus Association presented the ribbons. This show included both 4-H and P.P.A. boys and girls.
Awards of show halters, curry combs, feed tubs, rice brushes, and dressing combs were given in the following classes:
Class I: To be judged orf the way the boy bad “grown out" his Heifer. Archie Bailey, Jr., Richard Griffith, J. T. Dwyer, Melvin Williams. ~
Class II: 1st, Beautyr owned by Archie Bailey, Jr.; 2nd, Blackie, owned by J. T. Dwyer; 3rd, Beauty, owned by Richard Griffith.
Class III: Angus heifers, open to all 4-H and F.F.A. members: 1st, Betty Mignonette, Betty H. Johnson; 2nd, Beauty, Archie Bailey, Jr.; 3rd, Blackie, J. T. Dwyer; 4th, Aggie, Peachey Dyne.
Class IV: Hereford heifers: 1st, Betsy Ross, Kelly Updike. Class V .'Hereford, open to all 4-H and P.P.A. members: 1st Betsy Ross, Kelly Updike; 2nd, Carnation, Gen Updike.
