Church Servces
the Rev. John Divers, a senior at the Southern Baptist Seminary, who expects to graduate in April, wilt conduct the 11 o'clock services at Woodville Baptist church and< the 7:30 o’clock services at Mt. Lebanon Baptist church, Sunday March 15. The public, is cordially invited to attend one or both of these services.
The Methodist • Youth Fellowship Group held its organization meeting, Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Methodist church. Officerstwere elected and the meetings will be held each Sunday evening at the church. A11 young people over twelve are invited to be present.
Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller and T. G Lea and R. L. Brown attended the 11 o’clock services at Trinity diurch in Fredericksburg on ^Sunday. The Rev. Samuel B. Chiltpn, secretarytreasurer of the Diocese and the Rev. Rains, rector of Trinky, arranged for the Rev. Charles E. Karsten Jr., to ocnduot the service at this time.
Rev. Karsten Jr. is an assistant Rector of Trinity church, New tfa■ ven, Conn., and expects to leave his present parish in the near future and take one of his own.
Mr. and Mrs. Karsten and the Rev. Mr. Chilton yere present at a “gettogether” at Trinity church, Washington, Sunday evening, to meet communicants of Emmanuel and Trinity ‘ church of this parish. After the social Mr. and Mrs. Karsten and Rev. Mr. Chilton were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller at “Maple Springs.” Rappahannock Methodist7 Charge Services Sunday, March 15, will be at Willis Chapel, 9:45 a.m.; Flint Hill, 11 ;a.m.; Sperryville, 7 :30 p.m.
Rev. Menchhofer will preach on "Consecration and You.” The public is invited to worship with the congregation.
