Word has been received that Pfc. Irving E. Sisk Jr., husband of Jeanne Woodward Side, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Side of Washington, is serving with Co. A of the 802 Engr. Avn. Bn in Korea and is stationed in Suwotv Korea. , *
Pfc Sisk is a typist in the supply room, which consists of getting supplies for his company. He entered the Armed Forces in February 1952. After completing his basic training at Fort Lee, and completing % course in the Unit Supply Specialist which was attached to the fifth Air Force, he was sent to Korea, where he is now serving.
Pfc. Sisk received his present raftk of Private First Class on November 30. 1952. - 7
Mrs. Irving Sisk Jr., who makes her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Woodward while her husband is with the Armed Forces, is spending this week with Mr, and Mrs. Irving Sisk.
Attend Funeral
Many Rappahannock people were in Front Royal on Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral of D. Maurice Shdrey, who was found dead in his car Sunday afternoon from the result of an automobile accident Mr. Shirey married Miss Phyllis Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown of Sperryville. Besides his wife, he is survived by his father, P. M. Shirey of Front Royal and a sister, Mrs. Louise Shirey Hoose of Charlottesville.
Graveside sendees were conducted by the Rev. G. M. Profitt from the Masonic Cemetery Tuesday afternoon for Charlotte Ann Giles, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Giles. The Gileses have a son, C. E. Giles Jr., who is five years old. __ . ,■
