Mrs. Frank Bennett of Culpeper and Mrs. Lizzie Durant were the week-end guests of their sister, Mrs. Carroll Menefee.
AC Carroll Menefee, Jr., after completing hi* pre-flight training in Texas, arrived unexpectedly Monday at the home of his mother in Sperryville. After a furlough of several days, AC Menefee will go to Air Base, Malden, Mo., where he will attend cadet training school.
•Mrs. Billy Catherine Vincil, who has been the guest of her step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, for several weeks, returned to her home in Richmond on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Miller accompanied her as far as Fredericksburg.
Rev. and Mrs. A, Paul Thompson and daughter, Ahn Rodes, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr., and daughter, Susan, were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown.
