Mrs. H. H. Aylor is staying in Arlington with her son, Joe Henry Aylor, and Joe, Jr., while Mrs. Aylor is a patient in Garfield hospital. She underwent ha operation last Friday. Ann Yates Aylor is at the Lee Highway hotel with her grandmother, Mrs. Howard, and Mrs. James M. Yates.
Mrs. Annie Taylor Bruce has been ill for the past month with a severe attack of sciatica at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ennis Brown. Guests who visited Mrs. Bruce over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Bruce, Robert Bruce of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Griffith of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Judd of Luray, Mrs. Gordon Wayland and their son, Reginald Wayland.

Carder were Culpeper shoppers on Thursday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Thornhill were supper guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and Mrs. •Cary Thornhill.
