4-H Sapper

The Rappahannock County 4-H tdub Council held a supper at the fire hall in Washington in the spring of 1952 for the benefit of the council. This money we used to send delegates to 4-H Shortcourse and to camp, purchase 4-H club banner and other needs. Our parents were-good enough to donate and help us get our things together. The girls did most of the cooking. Miss Fuss thought of a real cute center piece and place cards which were fun to make and also very suitable for the occasion. We had turkey with all the trimmings which we hope everyone enjoyed.
We‘plan to have another dinner on March 13. The menu as last year will consist of roast turkey with dressing an$i gravy,, candied sweet potatoes, green peas, cole slaw, cranberry sauce, celery and carrot sticks, hot rolls, butter, apple pie and coffee Tickets will be $1.50 for adults and $1 for children. We hope you will all come and enjoy it
