The Rappahannock Supervisors unanimously adopted a resolution at last Thursday’s board meeting calling for an investigation by an appropriate agency of a high-speed chase and shooting by Front Royal police in Rappahannock on April 23.
The resolution presented by supervisor Butch Eastham is addressed to the mayor and town council of Front Royal. It asks that a copy of any report be furnished to the Rappahannock board.
“In view of the fact that the safety of Rappahannock County citizens was tht^atened by the high-speed chase and by the shots fired at the termination of the chase that reflected in the wounding of the fugitive, the incident has become a matter of grave concern to many citizens of this county," the resolution reads.

Meeting May 15
The Rappahannock Supervisors have rescheduled their special budget session from Wednesday, May 9, to Tuesday, May 15, at 2 p.m. in the court house. The action was taken at last week’s monthly board meeting at the request of accountant Walter Cox.
On May IS, the supervisors will also review the school board’s capital outlay proposals.
