Conner Jenkins inquired when the highway department planned to finish paving Route 604 where right-of-way has already been donated. He added that ditches along the road have not been cleaned out in 12 or 15 years.
Askew replied that improvements on Route 604 were included on the six-year plan for fiscal year 1981-82.
Roy Beck added that 604 was not only impassable in winter but also impassable in summer during rain to the point that school buses, as well as cars, got stuck.
David Konick requested that Route 619 below Rock Mills be graded and graveled to eliminate pot holes. He noted that the road needed gravel first or else a grader would have nothing to grade but mud.
