Each supervisor stated that in the light of the facts he had received, he would carefully evaluate the Library situation in relation to total county needs when the budget will be reviewed May 15.
James P. Jamieson, president of the Friends of the Rappahannock County Library, said, “You could not ask for the democratic process to work with more understanding and open communication.0 He added, “The Friends of the Library want to commend the Rappahannock supervisors and hope that they find the Library’s request for a small but absolutely necessary increase in support should be granted for the good of the county as a whole.”
