Coppage
Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Gay Coppage of Rixeyville were held Saturday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Washington Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Edward Jenkins and the Rev. Lindsay Savage conducted the service.
Mrs. Coppage, 82, wife of James Haywood Coppage, died May 3, 1979, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Rappahannock County, she was a member of Eggsbornsville Pentecostal Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two foster daughters, Mrs. Dessie Lucas of Rixeyville and Mrs. Linda Smith of Virginia Beach and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were McArthur Pullen, Bayliss Wharton, Leedy Coppage, James Bailey, Levi Alther and Laymon Horton.

The W.S.C.S. of Flint Hill United Methodist Church will meet Monday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. B. J. Wood.
