During the past two weeks library spokesmen have brought to each of the supervisors of the county’s five political districts the problem of the Rappahannock Library’s financial crisis.
In every instance the library’s supporters report, the supervisors have been accessible for indepth discussion in their homes or place of business. They listened to the Library’s petition for a needed increase of 25 cents per capita ($117.00 extra per month) in order to continue to receive State and Federal yearly funding of $2200; they heard that the Library is requesting that this extra support come from unappropriated funds
