He told the board that educational opportunities at RCHS were limited due to lack of space for new classes. With additional course offerings, he said, Rappahannock graduates would have a better chance of being accepted in college.
Johnson also put in a plug for teacher pay scale increases. He noted that salary raises for county teachers in the past few years have not kept up with skyrocketing inflation.
