Miss Charlotte Ann Printz and John Delmar Borgens were married April 21, 1979 at Forest Grove Baptist in Viewtown. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Printz of Amissville. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Borgens of Norfolk.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ronald Wiley of Sperryville. Music was provided by Robert Treanor of Amissville. Brenda Anderson of Amissville, sister of the bride, sang “Let It Be Me” and the “Wedding Song.” Ms. Becky Stephens of Culpeper played the wedding marches.
The church was decorated with arrangements of yellow daisies and white gladioli.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of candlelight eyelet lace, designed with an empire bodice, scooped neckline and floating sleeves. Grosgrain ribbon encircled the waistline ending in a bow in back and enhanced the flounce at the hemline of the skirt. She wore a picture hat of matching eyelet with blushes of imported illusion arranged on the crown. She carried a fan with inserts of lace and seed pearls mounted with beige rosebuds and babies breath.
