Sean Kilpatrick of Woodville announced this week that he will campaign for Board of Supervisors member from StonewallH a w thorn e District, guaranteeing a race for every seat this November. He will oppose incumbent H. B. Wood. Jr. of Woodville.
Kilpatrick, 35, has called Rappahannock County his home since his parents bought land here 13 years ago. He is married to the former Sharon Stone and they have two children. They have lived at Hawthorn Farm in the F. T. Valley for the past five years. Active in church affairs, he is senior warden of Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington and also teaches Sunday School. Although this is his first bid for elective office, Kilpatrick is no stranger to politics. As a newspaperman for 10 years, he has closely observed local and state governments in several areas.
