Joyce R. Deal of Herndon is attending the Sterling campus of the Northern Virginia Community College where she will major in business administrationSecretarial Science. She will begin in June with several summer classes.
She is a 1978 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Deal of Sperryville. Joyce is presently employed with the Central Intelligence Agency in McLean and with McDonald’s in Herndon.

The Rev. Calvin Baltimore, pastor of Third Zion Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker and will be accompanied by his choir and congregation.
Burke Reunion
The family of the late Charles Lewis and Bessie Jenkins Burke will hold their reunion Sunday, June 10, at the Rappahannock Recreation Center, Washington. A family spokesman said to come, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy old and new friends. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.
