Meeting

Jack W. Lillis, assistant professor of electronics and engineering technology at Lord Fairfax Community College, will be the featured speaker at the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection’s quarterly meeting, Friday, June 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the court house.

Lillis will talk on how to meet the upcoming energy crunch. He will present a slide show that addresses such topics as past and. future energy consumption rates and patterns and projected resource availability. Lillis will also demonstrate the interrelation between Gross National Product (GNP), jobs and energy sources.

In accepting RLEP’s invitation to speak, Lillis emphasized that he doesn’t want to deliver a lecture and would like the audience to join in discussions throughout his presentation. The public is invited to attend and participate in RLEP’s program on energy needs.
