Rev. Jennings Hobson, chairman of the clinic advisory board, presented McGarvey with a Confederate flag cake as a token of esteem for the transplanted yankee. “Just as long as you don’t call me a carpetbagger.” joked McGarvey who is returning to his home town of Philadelphia.
